Becoming Letters

I have always loved the intimacy of letters. The feeling of being thought of.
And writing has been my passion ever since I was eleven years old.
Now, exactly eleven years later, Becoming Letters feels like my small contribution to making the world feel a bit more personal again:

just like recieving a letter from a friend.

The Letter

Each issue is created as one cohesive art piece, where words, imagery and atmosphere are meant to complement each other, exploring one part of becoming each month.

The writing is created by me, while the collages are designed in collaboration with my mom, who is equally passionate about them as I am about writing.

Each monthly edition includes:

• a handsigned personal essay
• a poem
• an affirmation card
• a question to the reader
• a postcard

all woven together through collage, colour, and reflection.
